Deep Rest & Regulation

Deep Rest & Regulation at Hawk Hill is a gentle, integrative session designed to support the nervous system, release held tension, and bring the body back toward balance.

This treatment blends flowing massage, craniosacral-informed work, tuning forks, breath-guided touch and microcurrent where appropriate. Sessions unfold slowly and responsively, allowing your system to shift out of fight-or-flight and into a state where repair and recalibration can occur.

Some people arrive feeling overwhelmed, wired, exhausted or emotionally heavy.
Others come simply because their body is asking for deep rest. Each session is shaped in the moment around what you need most.

What to expect

  • A quiet intake to check in with how you are feeling physically and emotionally.

  • Gentle observation of breath patterns, tension and nervous-system tone.

  • Slow, attentive hands-on work designed to encourage settling and regulation.

  • Use of sound or microcurrent where these feel supportive rather than stimulating.

  • Space to integrate, rest and re-orient at the end of the session.

Who this can support

  • People experiencing chronic stress, burnout or nervous-system overload.

  • Those struggling with sleep, anxiety or persistent tension.

  • Clients recovering from illness, emotional strain or major life transitions.

  • Anyone wanting to reconnect with a sense of calm and internal steadiness.

Session length

When booking, choose the amount of time you would like:

  • 60 minutes — focused nervous-system support and settling.

  • 90 minutes — deeper work with more space for integration and whole-body regulation.

The treatment itself is tailored on the day.

Safety & suitability

All sessions are adapted to your health status. Recent surgery, acute injury, infectious skin conditions or some circulatory or neurological conditions may require modification or medical clearance.

Pregnant clients receive pregnancy-safe techniques and positioning unless otherwise advised by their healthcare provider.

Booking suggestions

  • If you have been running on adrenaline for a long time, starting with a 90-minute session often allows the system to truly drop.

  • Regulation tends to deepen over a short series of sessions rather than in a single visit.

  • Please communicate openly about sensations, emotions or comfort levels during the treatment.
