Integrated Bodywork

Integrated Bodywork at Hawk Hill brings together a range of hands-on techniques into a session shaped around what your body is asking for on the day.

Drawing on myofascial release, deep tissue work, flowing massage, joint mobilisation, and gentle craniosacral-informed and energy-aware approaches where appropriate, treatments are adapted moment by moment in response to your tissues, breath and nervous system. Sessions may also include microcurrent or light therapies when these are likely to be supportive.

Some sessions focus on pain, restriction or recovery after injury.
Others lean more toward settling the system, restoring ease, and supporting emotional or energetic balance. Often it is a blend of both.

What to expect

  • A brief intake to talk through your health history, goals and current concerns.

  • Observation of posture, movement patterns and areas of holding or strain.

  • Hands-on work guided by breath and feedback, aimed at releasing soft tissue, improving mobility, reducing discomfort and supporting nervous-system regulation.

  • Simple self-care suggestions — gentle movement, breathing or awareness practices — if appropriate.

Who this can support

  • People with chronic or recurring musculoskeletal pain in the neck, shoulders, back or hips.

  • Those recovering from injury or living with postural strain.

  • Anyone seeking greater ease of movement and a calmer nervous system.

  • Clients who prefer a holistic approach that works across structural, fascial and energetic layers.

Session length

When booking, simply choose the amount of time you would like:

  • 60 minutes — focused work for one or two key areas.

  • 90 minutes — broader, full-body or more complex concerns.

The treatment itself is tailored on the day.

Safety & suitability

All sessions are adapted to your health status. Certain conditions — such as recent surgery, acute injury, infectious skin conditions, or some circulatory disorders — may require modification or medical clearance.

Pregnant clients receive pregnancy-safe positioning and techniques unless otherwise advised by their healthcare provider.

Booking suggestions

  • If you have long-standing pain or multiple areas of concern, starting with a 90-minute session often allows more comprehensive work.

  • Chronic patterns usually respond gradually over several sessions, while more recent issues may shift more quickly.

  • Please communicate openly about pressure levels, comfort and any emotional responses during treatment.
